About the wine
From the hills to your glass with elegant poise
- Soft tannins, a medium body and completely moorish layers of tongue teasing berries will have you reaching for a re-fill! This drop is great to drink on its own or with a meal. At under $13 a bottle, it certainly punches above its weight!
- Andrew Leembruggen crafts his Hilltops range wih a fine and fruit driven experience in mind. He wants to emphasise the natural fruit flavours, spice and perfume that are all gifted by the grapes of this incredible region.
- The Hilltops wine region lies in southern NSW and includes the shires of Boorowa, Harden and Young. Young has an altitude of 439m which means cool nights coupled with warm days allowing for the production of reds that are powerful yet elegant with proven age-ability.
Best before
Safe to cellar for 3-5 years, but as always check in regularly on a bottle. Wine keeps evolving in glass so check to ensure that you enjoy it when you love it!
Serving advice
Cool but not cold, 18-20 degrees ideal. You could decant into a carafe or empty bottle before drinking but temperature most important with reds in Australia with its varied climates.

BBQ meats, including chicken, beef or lamb based casseroles, or simply outdoor living with friends.

- Our first Hunter Valley winemaker, Andrew is crafting delicate and perfumed wines from prime vineyards in the Hunter Valley and the diverse regions of NSW
- Over 25 vintages, Andrew made wines for some of Australia's oldest and most prestigious wineries. His experience making internationally multi-award winning wines has connected him with dedicated growers that share his passion for wines that typify the styles best reflective of the region.
- Andrew has quit his regular job, leased a winery and gone it alone. He would not have been able to do this without the support of the Naked Angels.
