Ashs first, of two, shiraz wines from the same vineyard - same year!
- Ashley handcrafted two different shiraz wines, separately, from the same single organic vineyard in the Upper Hunter to showcase just how a small change in harvesting can make a huge difference.
- Shiraz Premiere Recolte is the first of two harvests and therefore is a more elegant style and slightly lower in alcohol when compared to the secondary (Deuxime) pick. Beautiful fruit aromas of cherry and raspberry notes are balanced with a beautiful clove spicy character. Both the Deuxime and Premiere were handpicked, crushed, cold soaked and matured for 10 months in oak before bottling.
- Why not get one each of the Premiere and Deuxime shiraz to compare the effect that the time of harvest can make to a grape and a wine - and discover your favourite!

Meet the winemaker - Ashley Horner
- Born and bred in the Upper Hunter Valley, Ash worked in local vineyards while helping to establish his Family Vineyard.
- He's one of the most passionate people we've ever met! When asked what he loved most about his job, his answer was "Everything! I love the action during vintage and the progression of grapes becoming a bottle to enjoy. I love the diversity and the abstract thinking you can put into creating a wine product. I also love the diversity of the people that work in the industry and how winemaking makes me feel complete in my life".
- What's the difference between Ash and the rest? His grapes are from organic vineyards and are made using fully certified organic practices!
