Ashley Horner Family Reserve Picpoul 2021
About the wine
Unique, limited edition crisp Aussie white
- Originally from the South of France, this crisp Aussie-grown white calls the Central Ranges of NSW home. It comes from one of only two known vineyards of Picpoul in Australia, and the only organic one.
- A GOLD medal winner at the 2021 Australian Organic Wine Awards, it's delightfully aromatic wine with a zip in its step. A wildflower, citrus and vanilla scent becomes a fresh lemon and orange peel tang when you sip, backed by a slightly creamy texture.
- Ash has created a rare drinking experience, perfect for anyone who appreciates a crisp, dry white wine to enjoy both by itself or with food. But he’s only made a tiny amount, so if you’re curious, grab one now!
Best before
6 years as the wine ages it will develop secondary characters that are sweeter/creamy.
It will probably last longer then six years with its natural acidity.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Ashley Horner
- Born and bred in the Upper Hunter Valley, Ash worked in local vineyards while helping to establish his Family Vineyard.
- He's one of the most passionate people we've ever met! When asked what he loved most about his job, his answer was "Everything! I love the action during vintage and the progression of grapes becoming a bottle to enjoy. I love the diversity and the abstract thinking you can put into creating a wine product. I also love the diversity of the people that work in the industry and how winemaking makes me feel complete in my life".
- What's the difference between Ash and the rest? His grapes are from organic vineyards and are made using fully certified organic practices!
