It is drinking well now, but aging up to 5-8 years will see rewards.
Serving advice
Gently tip into a decanter, give it a few minutes and then get into it!
Food match
Slow cooked foods, such as rich beef stew or peppery French lentil stew would be great. This would also go well with a run to the bakery – Chunky steak pie, veggie and cheese pasty, and even the Vanilla slice.
