About the wine
Soft, tasty, easy-drinking red
- The Barossa climate and soils are perfectly suited to classic red varieties like Mataro. The fruit for this deliciously slurpable drop, came from the Sonntag vineyard in Stonewell, which grows lively, aromatic fruit.
- A light to medium body, this is a soft, juicy, easy-drinking wine to be enjoyed in its youth while the fruit is fresh and lively. It’s bursting with bright red cherry, raspberry, cranberry and pomegranate with subtle florals, earthy hints, a good dose of Asian spice and silky-smooth tannins.
- This is Barossa pedigree fruit transformed into a delicious, modern, versatile wine at a cracker price by two of the most revered winemakers in Australia. What are you waiting for?!
Best before
Drink this wine while itÂ’s young and fresh to get the most out of the bright, lively fruit.
Serving advice
While not essential to this wineÂ’s enjoyment, allowing it to breathe for 15 minutes before drinking will more fully express its natural character. Serve at room temperature, or in warm weather allow to chill for 20-30 minutes in the fridge.
Food match
Great with light meats and spiced delicacies, this bright, fruity wine is ideal with the likes of crispy Chinese pork belly with five spice, sesame crusted seared tuna, Thai duck salad, fish tacos, or beetroot gnocchi.
