Lagoon View Vintage Sparkling Chardonnay 2019
About the wine
Double gold medal winner with a long, tingling finish
- Angels so loved Glenn’s Lagoon View wines from the Stop The Squeeze campaign, we’ve found another gem that didn’t make it to China.
- Like his other delightful wines, this bubbly’s home is a single estate, family operated vineyard in the Goulburn Valley of central Victoria, surrounded by a spring fed lagoon. The prime location, and its warm days and cool nights are just the ticket for beautiful fruit-driven wine like this.
- It’s floral apple blossom and citrus scent leads you into a crisp mouthful of peach, nectarine and honeydew with a tiny hint of fruit sweetness. You’ll be treated to a long, luscious and tingling finish that begs for another sip. Go on, try it!
Best before
Our 2019 sparkling is ready for drinking now in its youth. It is a fresh and elegant style with lifted aromatics and a delicate profile. The body will develop and deepen with time, taking on flavours of pastry, brioche and field herbs.
Serving advice
Bottled under a high-quality cork, the quality of this wine is guaranteed from oxidisation. Remove the foil, unwind the wire and gently release the cork while holding firm and hear that POP! We suggest serving chilled at 6-8oC.
Food match
Crispy Spring Rolls, Dim Sum, Vegetable Tempura, Fresh Rock Oysters, Prawns or Morton Bay Bugs with Lemon Juice, or a perfect accompaniment with or without food to celebrate any happy occasion.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Barbara Gallo & Glenn Eberbach
The team at Stratford Vineyard have been successfully making excellent wines for many years. The vineyard has been awarded over 700 awards in the last six years including winery of the year, double gold, gold, silver and bronze medals in Australia and International wine shows.
Chances are, you’ve heard of Stratford Vineyard before - only then they were known by a different name. They first joined Naked’s Stop the Squeeze program with the Lagoon View wines that were caught up in the China tariff crisis. The relationship was intended to be temporary. Then something very special happened.
Both the Stratford team and the Angels adored one another so much, the team decided to be part of Naked exclusively… and permanently. So here they are, using their actual vineyard’s name, with Naked for good! May we introduce vineyard co-owners Barbara and Sam Gallo and their winemaker, Glenn Eberbach - our newest team behind Stratford Vineyard.
