About the wine
Small batch limited edition that combines delicious new world style with old!
- A small batch wine made from 100% estate grown grapes from one of the Hunter's best boutique vineyards, nestled high up in the Brokenback Ranges of NSW.
- The colour of pale straw, it smells of green apple, green melon and a touch of flint. Take a sip and enjoy its crisp natural acidity, a touch of oak tannin and lots of interesting characters from barrel fermentation.
- This is a versatile, refreshing and budget-friendly wine for virtually any occasion. Pour a glass when the sun goes down and give yourself a few minutes to reflect on how good it is to be an Angel!
Best before
If its youthful charms can be resisted, it promises a significant cellaring life of 5-10 years.
Serving advice
Serve Chardonnay cool or chilled but not ice cold. The ideal serving temperature is normally between 10°C and 15°C. Put the bottle in the fridge a couple of hours before serving. Take the bottle out of the fridge 10 or 20 minutes before opening it.
It is best to avoid serving temperatures colder than 7°C, as they prevent the wine from releasing its bouquet.
Food match
Best paired with poultry dishes, pork, seafood or recipes that have a heavy cream or butter base. Really nice match with scallops or pork fillet.
