About the wine
Smooth cellar-aged Limestone Coast Shiraz
- The best vineyards from Derek and Anna’s favourite places in South Australia were persuaded to give up their bounty for this elegant red. In the hands of these gifted winemakers, the grapes were transformed into an easy drinking Shiraz with a touch of age.
- A lighter style, it smacks of berry and blackcurrant fruityness and a light floral hit. Some extra time in new and seasoned French oak has allowed this wine to develop and softened those luscious tannins!
- We know how hard it is to hold on to good wine. Well, the Hoopers have done it for you! Just crack it open, pour a glass and enjoy a great little independent Aussie drop.

Meet the winemaker - Derek Hooper
Hooper & Co’s wines echo the pristine land they come from, the local community and pushing wine boundaries (Derek’s speciality!)
Derek’s son, Harry, splits his time between winemaking and brewing. Daughter Grace is already elbow deep in grape juice, and Daisy is a marketing specialist in the industry.
From father Kym’s first vineyard back in 1992, through Derek, to his fresh-faced, eager charges, they are one of the new families of wine. And they’re out to stir up your palate with fantastic drops with sustainability at their core.
