About the wine
Cool-climate winemaking at its best!
The cool nights in Orange pulls the fruit back from getting too ripe and has allowed Debbie to create a super elegant Shiraz with delicious flavours.
Overflowing with dark berry fruits, cherry, blackberry, and a little hint of blueberry & plum are jumping out of the glass! Beautiful mid-palate fruit weight and a gorgeous fruity fleshiness all followed up by a touch of dark chocolate, coffee and a spiciness coming through from the oak. Seriously, the flavours of this Shiraz just go on and on!
The cooler growing conditions allow the fruit to exhibit more complex characters with much softer tannins compared to wines from other regions. And, because it's from a less famous winemaking region it doesn't carry the higher price tag of other wines.

Meet the winemaker - Debbie Lauritz
Debbie’s winemaking endeavours have taken her around the world from France and New Zealand to Canada and eventually, the idyllic Central Ranges and Orange regions of New South Wales, with the variety of long-standing winemaking traditions honing her skills along the way.
As a cultured, cool-climate specialist, Debbie has spent multiple vintages in top spots at the celebrated Cumulus and Robert Oatley wineries. Her passion for crafting fine wines has contributed to the success of this pocket of Australia, helping to put the Central Ranges and Orange regions on the winemaking map.
It was the opportunity to make her wine, her way that motivated Debbie to ring the Naked doorbell in 2019. She’s pulled out all the stops to ensure her luscious Puttin’ On Lau-Ritz wines are first-rate!
