About the wine
Cabernet is King!
- The inspiration behind this wine was the lessons and passion Rob brought back from his time making wines in the Napa Valley, California. Just as Cabernet Sauvignon is truly the King of the grapes in Napa, perfect 2014 Riverina vintage conditions resulted in top class fruit, ripe for the picking and ready for Rob to start working his magic.
- The palate of this young wine shows wonderful fruit intensity and elegance. Soft tannins and a smooth mouth feel make it the perfect accompaniment to any red meat based dish. The Cabernet grown in 2014 was considered well above average because the consistently mild conditions produced grapes with true varietal expression, intense flavours and deep colours. Enough to make your mouth water just thinking of it all...
- After maturing in a mix of French and American Oak, the wine gained richness and complexity before it was bottled in deliciously convenient bottles for your drinking pleasure at home or with friends. A wonderful win for those with a flair for red wine and red meat combos, and a win for all Naked Angels who made it possible. This is a serious Cabernet without the serious price tag so snap it up before others do!

Enjoy now or until 2019 with careful cellaring.
Serving advice
Serve slightly chilled around 15-18°C. A light decant prior to serving would help open up the wine.
Food match
Try slow-roasted lamb with butternut pumpkin and desiree potatoes. With all the trimmings of course - gravy and mint jelly!

Meet the winemaker - Rob Paulazzo
- Having worked for McWilliams, Orlando and Giesen, Rob has bucket-loads of experience and is excited to use this knowledge to make wines under his very own label. What's more, his winery has achieved rock star status from top wine critics.
- Each drop he creates draws on incredible international experience... he's been everywhere a winemaker could want to work - Burgundy, Tuscany, Napa Valley, Niagara Peninsula and even magical Marlborough.
- Born and bred in the NSW Riverina region, and nominated for young winemaker of the year in 2008, Rob's got access to some seriously amazing fruit. And he's thrilled to be making wines exclusively for Angels!
