- Shiraz or Syrah? Same variety, different styles. Syrah dominates the Northern Rhone region of France where the style is medium bodied and complex - think spice, cherry, tar, smoke, plums, earthy and lively, in comparison to the big, bold, powerhouse shiraz produced in Australia.
- The fruit for this wine was carefully hand-picked and wild fermented with 50% whole bunches in 100% French oak. This wine has not been fined and was given a single light filtration before bottling. Natural sediment may develop over time.
