About the wine

- The Cabernet Sauvignon for this wine was grown on three vineyards. The two elevated and cool Strathbogie vineyards give the wine it's mint and blackcurrant aroma whilst the warmer vineyard adds weight and a savoury character to this deeply coloured wine.
- It has a gorgeous blackcurrant flavour with some menthol and eucalyptus notes. A full bodied red with some grainy tannis - but not agressive.
- Can be cellared for up to 5 years! Sam has done it again with this lip-smackingly gorgeous red!

Meet the winemaker - Sam Plunkett
- Winemaking legend Sam sources grapes from the family vineyard in the Strathbogie ranges of Central Victoria. Winemakers don't come much more in love with their job than him - he'd "happily spend everyday around tanks, barrels, stainless steel toys and wine".
He’s had a meteoric rise from self-taught winemaker to a multi award-winner and even has his own cellar door now! His winery was recently recognised as one of the Top 10 Dark Horse wineries in James Halliday's 2021 Awards.
