About the wine
HOT value Pinot Noir!
- Sam has been inspired by the Victorian period. It was an era of invention and eclecticism where excess reigned. The Victorian range provides Sam with the opportunity to incorporate new technologies and inventiveness in his winemaking.
- The fruit for this wine was grown on the Taresch family 'Elgo' vineyard in the Strathbogie Ranges. The Victorian Pinot Noir is a well balanced wine, it's fruit forward and aromatic with attractive strawberry aromas with some complex spicy oak notes.
- Drink now for a fresh fruit forward wine (Sam's preference) or age for 3-5 years for a more savoury, complex wine.. 83% of our customers couldn't wait and would happily buy this wine again and we think you should too.

Meet the winemaker - Sam Plunkett
- Winemaking legend Sam sources grapes from the family vineyard in the Strathbogie ranges of Central Victoria. Winemakers don't come much more in love with their job than him - he'd "happily spend everyday around tanks, barrels, stainless steel toys and wine".
He’s had a meteoric rise from self-taught winemaker to a multi award-winner and even has his own cellar door now! His winery was recently recognised as one of the Top 10 Dark Horse wineries in James Halliday's 2021 Awards.
The backing of thousands of Naked Angels has helped pave the way for Sam to continue making the great wine he loves, exclusively for you!
