About the wine
A great wine from Central Victoria
- Winemaker Sam Plunkett has been inspired by the Victorian period. This wine provides Sam with the opportunity to incorporate new technologies and inventiveness in his winemaking to showcase wines from around the state of Victoria.
- The fruit for this wine was grown on a vineyard in Central Victoria. Sam said that 'lots of reds with this much flavour and colour would be 1% higher in alcohol. I think rhis lower alcohol makes for a more sophisticated and elegant wine.'
- A full bodied and rich red with a lovely velvety texture... if you love Shiraz, then you will love this wine by Sam!

Meet the winemaker - Sam Plunkett
- Winemaking legend Sam sources grapes from the family vineyard in the Strathbogie ranges of Central Victoria. Winemakers don't come much more in love with their job than him - he'd "happily spend everyday around tanks, barrels, stainless steel toys and wine".
He’s had a meteoric rise from self-taught winemaker to a multi award-winner and even has his own cellar door now! His winery was recently recognised as one of the Top 10 Dark Horse wineries in James Halliday's 2021 Awards.
The backing of thousands of Naked Angels has helped pave the way for Sam to continue making the great wine he loves, exclusively for you!
