Two Pairs Reserve White Rhone Blend 2022
About the wine
Inspired by Rhone whites and wine heroes
- The soils and climate of the Goulburn Valley region of Central Victoria is ideal for growing Rhone varieties Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier. So that’s where the talented Two Pairs headed for their fruit. Handpicked from three seperate vineyards, the grapes bring a real sense of place to this crisp white blend.
- Having been gently coaxed into wine, the parcels were barrel fermented in older oak barrels and left on lees for about 9 months for extra character. The final magic happened on the blending bench where they were woven together in perfect harmony, each variety adding its own personality to the final wine.
- Fill your glass to enjoy its flint, white peach and apricot characters, with subtle hints of brioche and spring florals. This delicious drop is a homage to both the wine region Kate and Nina love, and those who have inspired them on their winemaking journey. If you listen carefully, you may catch a whisper from the late great winemaker, Don Lewis, as you fill your glass.
Best before
Traditionally these Rhone style blends tend to age very well on account of their natural acidity. You will note as it ages a darkening of the colour and increasing richness on the palate. Drink now until 2035
Serving advice
Serve chilled but not too cold - as it warms in the glass you will see the flavours and aromatics evolve out of the glass.
Food match
This type of blend is really made for food and works perfectly with a richer type of roast such a turkey with all the trimmings, or any type of shellfish such as a buttery grilled lobster tail or grilled white fish in a lemon, dill, and caper sauce. Alternatively also try with a simple goats cheese salad or with a cheese plate of Manchego and quince paste.
Contains sulphites

Meet the winemaker - Nina Stocker & Kate Day
Nina Stocker and Kate Day are multi award-winning winemakers whose lives have been inextricably linked since they became besties at Uni. They've since chalked up more than 30 years combined experience in some of the greatest and most historic winemaking regions on the planet in France, Italy, the US, Portugal, NZ and here in Aus.
Nina became Chief Winemaker for Catalina Sounds, Crowded House and Nanny Goat in NZ, scoring the prized Air New Zealand Trophy for Best Sauvignon Blanc. Kate was winemaker at the esteemed Willunga-100 winery in McLaren Vale when two of her wines were finalists in the prestigious Jimmy Watson Trophy. But creating a wine label together was their elusive dream.
It finally became a reality the day they knocked on the door of Naked HQ. Within minutes of trying their wines and realising what a truly formidable team these two made, the Two Pairs deal was done and dusted. And the name Two Pairs? A chance meeting at Kate’s wedding where Nina meet, and then married, the best man - Kate’s husband's identical twin brother. Thus creating... two pairs!
