About the wine
Sauv Blanc with a twist
- This DRG Sauvignon Blanc perfectly captures Daryl Groom and his passion for making wines. A huge bonus is that every single grape has come from Daryl's very own vineyard!
- The nose brings you heavenly aromas of grapefruit, passionfruit and green apples. This particular bottle is a little punchy on he nose as it will bop you on the nose with its intese alluring aromas. Its flavours of delicate florals and citrus keep you coming back for more.
- Its been dubbed as having a happy flavour profile and been called 'Summer in a glass'. It is only 13% alcohol so you can enjoy the entire bottle to yourself, although sharing with your friends will get you more brownie points...
Best before
Drink now and don't age. I enjoy this wine best when its young and fresh where the fruit characters shine through. It will age well for 2-5 years but you will loose those bright characters

Serve chilled and make sure you have another bottle in the refrigerator.

- Meet Daryl.... He has been a winemaker for 35 years... with some of his wines even served at the Oscars and Emmys two years in a row!
- Working as the senior white and red winemaker at Penfolds, his 1986 Penfolds Grange was arguably one of the top 3 Granges ever made - 98 points from Wine Spectator and Robert Parker.
- Daryl LOVES making (and drinking) Shiraz... It's silky, sexy and simply delicious he says and the greatest value of all red wines.
