- Aiming for a brutish Pinot Noir with a feminine twist, Nicky and her incredible Waipara team have kocked it out of the park. Single vineyard quality NZ Pinot delivered to your door for under $22 is almost unheard of! It's all thanks to Nicky's relentless pursuit of excellence - even after 20 years of vineyard experience, she still feels she is learning the complexities of bringing fruit from vine to bottle.
- The fruit of this wine was harvested in the cool of the morning to preserve aromas, ripe tannins and stabilise the gorgeous colour. You'll smell delightful spice and ripe cherries as you pour your glass, before enjoying the rich texture of each sip. Balanced layers of fresh plums, tobacco and cardamom will follow with the robust tannin structure that gives this wine body and a lot of soul to last through the years if cellared well.
- Reduced tonnages in the 2015 vintage means that this stunner simply can't last forever so get in quick! The percentage of new oak was also increased, giving it a sense of lusciousness you'd be simply mad to miss. Do yourself a favour and enjoy all that's on offer from this Dunnolly Pinot, which is consistently rated over 90% by thousands of other Angels!

This will be perfect for cellaring for at least 3-5 years but it is also great for drinking now.

Just leave the cap off one hour prior to drinking - that should give it enough time to breathe.

Meet the winemaker - Nicky Parish
Nicky’s parents, Peter and Felicity, chose the tiny, unique Waipara Valley in New Zealand’s South Island to plant their longed for vineyard. Pruning the vines on crisp winter mornings ignited Nicky’s love affair with wine.
The Parish family continued to grow grapes for the best producers in New Zealand for 10 years, but yearned for greater security and their own name on the label. With Nicky now a seasoned winemaker, Angels gave her the amazing opportunity to work with and learn from her father.
To this day, Angels allow Nicky to grow the business and spend time with young family. With Peter taking a well-earned governorship role, Nicky’s picking up the baton managing more of the business. Although Peter is never far away (the local golf course) if she needs some advice!
