About the wine
Single vineyard Rosé at its finest
James-Paul’s returns with his finest vintage ever! During the hustle and bustle of vintage last year, he welcomed his daughter Jacqueline into the world. To commemorate the happiest day of his life, he’s named this exceptional Rose - ‘Jacqueline’.
James-Paul Marin has crafted a serious Rosé in the French Provencal style: elegant, floral and dry with a mix of wild flowers and dried herbs all balanced by a zesty crisp acidity. Not your typical sweet Australian Rosé!
This Rose blend of Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir and a thimble of Chardonnay has made a stunningly unique, fresh, fruit-driven Summer thirst-quencher!
Best before
Drink young and fresh this summer as Rosé doesn't age well. As the wine develops, the wine's acidity decreases and thus the perceived sweetness increases with the wine no longer tasting as I intended.
Serving advice
This wine is quite delicate, so don't over-chill.
Food match
This summer will be about Granita (ie: frozen Rosé slushy). As the days get hotter, what better way to enjoy my Enfant Terrible Jacqueline Rosé, than as a Frosé Granita! My partner's Granita recipe to follow in a later post on my wall!

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - James-Paul Marin
- JP’s stellar career reaches back to 2000, but he almost walked away when corporate constraints became too much. Now, given a second chance by Angels, he’s walking to the beat of his own drum while crafting the boutique, cool-climate wines he loves.
- Extensive experience in the industry means JP has forged strong relationships that help him secure grapes from award-winning Aussie vineyards. Without being tied to one location, he’s able to select premium fruit that ensures every Enfant Terrible drop reflects the best that its vintage has to offer.
- As environmental advocate, JP handcrafts his wines using minimal intervention and sustainable techniques. Through SeedTheChange, he plants a tree for every case of wine sold – a mission that’s brilliant for Angels and for the Earth!
