About the wine
The mature master of Margaret River Cab
- Cabernet Sauvignon and Margaret River are a match made in heaven! After spending 24 months in French Oak to integrate some spicy and nutty notes, Stuart's labour of love has created a dense drop that is perfect in every way.
- The depth and dimension of the wine's aromas suggest that this is something serious and long living. Your glass will fill with aromas of red and blue berries, blackcurrants, mocha nuances and a subtle sage base note, that tells you it is from Margaret River.
- The lush mid-palate has beautifully textured layers of mulberries and black currants. All this scrumptiousness has fantastic length, and finishes with abundant fine grained tannins. In some ways the wine is brooding and introspective, and in other ways it's bursting with vibrance. Sophisticated and seductive now, it will only get better with age!

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Stuart Pym
Stuart’s winemaking career is the stuff of legend. First bitten by the bug at his parents' little winery in Margaret River, he went on to make wines in the Yarra Valley, Geelong and Bordeaux, and study in Tuscany, Piedmonte, Burgundy, the Loire, Rioja and Priorat. So you could say he has a fair bit of experience!
He's been crafting wine in Margaret River for over 30 years now and helped put iconic wineries like Voyager Estate, Devils Lair, Stella Bella and Flowstone firmly on the map. There's nothing he loves more than growing grapes and making wine. And he's very good at it.
With the support of Naked Angels, Stuart has rediscovered his passion for hands-on production. His label, 'Hearts and Bones' tells a story of Margaret River and celebrates the Naked Angels that paved the way for him to make wine just the way he likes it.
