About the wine
Rich and voluptuous!
- Just as Jen is a superstar of the Naked Wines story, her Rebel Shiraz is a leading light in her range of beautiful Victorian wines. It has been consistently rated by Angels as one of our most loved reds, keeping them coming back for more! The warm and dry 2015 vintage conditions allowed flavours to develop fully in the vineyard. A small berry size ensured bright colours and flavours were locked in to every bottle!
- The Rebel Shiraz is a blend of four different parcels of wine, from four vineyards. With all Jen's TLC at each step of the winemaking process, the overall balance of the wine is tough to resist with good length and tannin that rounds out the experience beautifully. It's definitely for lovers of rich, full bodied reds!
- Punching well above its price point, the nose has plenty of ripe plum and berry fruit with hints of chocolate. The palate is full, rich and smooth, with lots of mid palate fruit and a long finish. No wonder it's one of our most sought after reds!

Open and allow to breathe for 1-2 hours before serving, or decant if possible.
Food match
A feast of Moroccan spiced lamb cutlets, rosemary and garlic potatoes, roasted broccoli and a light chilli lemon dressing will pair beautifully with this Shiraz!
It is also great with home-made falafel wraps, with tabouli, chilli jam and a fresh salad.

Meet the winemaker - Jen Pfeiffer
- With the help of funding from Naked Wines, Jen is making wines the way she wants. This is a huge win for all involved, since Jen took home the Wine Society's Young Winemaker of the Year Sommelier's Choice Award in 2009!
