About the wine
3 great Italian wine varieties in one!
- Inspired by his time working in Italy this wine is testimony to Drew’s love of the wine styles of that country and also to the passion of a local Central Ranges grower who has planted his entire vineyard with Italian varietals.
- A unique Australian blend of Piedmonte's 3 greatest red wine varieties, Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto. Oodles of charm, fruitiness and approachability with extra depth from the Barbera and a lick of tannin and structure from the Nebbiolo. Loads of bold fresh fruit and a nice bit of tannin to carry the flavours with just a hint of oak impact.
- It’s all about immediate appeal. Rosso is a red wine that you can drink on warmer days as well as on cosy winter nights. You’ll be able to crack this open as soon as it arrives at your door! Ready and drinkable from day one.
Best before
Drink it while its young and fresh. However, I'd expect it will develop some good bottle maturity over 5 years.
Serving advice
Don't serve it too warm - about 20'C, especially in summer.
Food match
A fairly adaptable wine. Rich pasta sauces, BBQ'd meat and vegetables, vegetable salads, even a light curry.
Contains sulphites

Meet the winemaker - Drew Tuckwell
- Drew Tuckwell’s Kollectiv is just that. A collective effort by the winemaker, the grape growers of the Orange region and you, Naked Angels. Without this collective effort, these wines would not exist.
- For over a quarter-century Drew has been handcrafting state-of-the-art wines from some of the most prestigious and burgeoning regions way out west in New South Wales. This is an area where wines can command up to $95 a bottle!
- The last ten years alone has seen Drew rack up over 12 Trophy Awards while working his day job at one of the most celebrated wineries in the super-premium, super-cool Orange region.
