About the wine
Lush biodynamic red from pristine SA vineyards
- A delicious dance of certified biodynamic Wrattonbully and Mount Benson Shiraz, meaning no additives were added during the growing season or the winemaking process.
- The quality of the fruit really makes this rich red stand out. Fruit-forward, soft tannins and a little bit of oak shows off the winemaker’s dedication to minimal intervention winemaking and excellence in cool climate styles.
- If you're after an undeniably elegant Shiraz that will seduce you with hints of chocolate, then get this gem in your basket quick smart.

This wine has some punchy acid drive so will age well for at least the next five years but like all good things, can be enjoyed now.

Meet the winemaker - Derek Hooper
Hooper & Co’s wines echo the pristine land they come from, the local community and pushing wine boundaries (Derek’s speciality!)
Derek’s son, Harry, splits his time between winemaking and brewing. Daughter Grace is already elbow deep in grape juice, and Daisy is a marketing specialist in the industry.
From father Kym’s first vineyard back in 1992, through Derek, to his fresh-faced, eager charges, they are one of the new families of wine. And they’re out to stir up your palate with fantastic drops with sustainability at their core.
