- Anna and Derek bring Angels the very best of their craft with their Top Shelf Uncharted range. This Cabernet Sauvignon is a knock-out! It embodies their approach to both wines and life, letting Mother Nature lead the way with certified bio-dynamic winemaking techniques.
- It's earthy texture and complex structure ripe berry fruits, plums with hints of mint chocolate, finished with fine tannin, giving a nice savoury finish. You won't find a Cabernet of this quality at this price. Get ready for a lovely dry medium body and lusciously long finish. Yum!
- With it's elegance and ever developing flavours, the past vintage of this Cab rated through the roof with our Angels. It will only improve gracefully over the years, so get it in your basket before this vintage gets snapped up!
Best before
If you can resist the temptation to drink it now, this elegant example of BD Cabernet will reward you well. Cellaring will smooth out those tannins. Cellar up to 6 years.
Serving advice
We always say with our reds... Let this breathe... resist the temptation to pour yourself a glass for an hour. If you must pour... decant and allow the layers to open up! You will be well rewarded!
Food match
We have always recommended a good old Aussie Roast Lamb with our Cabernets...saying that the amount of Angels that say they had it with a steak and it was awesome is increasing!!

Meet the winemaker - Derek Hooper
Hooper & Co’s wines echo the pristine land they come from, the local community and pushing wine boundaries (Derek’s speciality!)
Derek’s son, Harry, splits his time between winemaking and brewing. Daughter Grace is already elbow deep in grape juice, and Daisy is a marketing specialist in the industry.
From father Kym’s first vineyard back in 1992, through Derek, to his fresh-faced, eager charges, they are one of the new families of wine. And they’re out to stir up your palate with fantastic drops with sustainability at their core.
