- Anna and Derek bring Angels the very best of their craft with their Top Shelf Uncharted range. This Cabernet Sauvignon is a knock-out! It embodies their approach to both wines and life, letting Mother Nature lead the way with certified bio-dynamic winemaking techniques.
- It's earthy texture and complex structure ripe berry fruits, plums with hints of mint chocolate, finished with fine tannin, giving a nice savoury finish. You won't find a Cabernet of this quality at this price. Get ready for a lovely dry medium body and lusciously long finish. Yum!
- With it's elegance and ever developing flavours, the past vintage of this Cab rated through the roof with our Angels. It will only improve gracefully over the years, so get it in your basket before this vintage gets snapped up!
Best before
This elegant style of Cabernet with its fine tannins and time in oak will age gracefully...although we always try to make a drink now style it will with years develop more tertiary characteristics and the tannin structure will smooth out...by all reports from our lovely Angels patience is well rewarded! Cellar up to six years.
Serving advice
Let this breatheÂ…resist the temptation to pour yourself a glass for an hour. If you must pourÂ…decant and allow the layers to open up! We here it goes awesomely, paired with a crackling fire in the evening ...the perfect wind down drink, so get comfortable!

We are always going to say Lamb with this one..its our favourite and we of course mean our own home grown lamb!

Meet the winemaker - Derek Hooper
Hooper & Co’s wines echo the pristine land they come from, the local community and pushing wine boundaries (Derek’s speciality!)
Derek’s son, Harry, splits his time between winemaking and brewing. Daughter Grace is already elbow deep in grape juice, and Daisy is a marketing specialist in the industry.
From father Kym’s first vineyard back in 1992, through Derek, to his fresh-faced, eager charges, they are one of the new families of wine. And they’re out to stir up your palate with fantastic drops with sustainability at their core.
