Sam Plunkett The Butterfly Effect Sauvignon Blanc 2013
About the wine
Zippy and refreshing
- If you loved the Butterfly Effect Chardonnay from Sam then you are going to love his brand new 2013 Sauvignon Blanc... Zippy, refreshing, drink it in the sun!
- It's crisp and refreshing and very easy drinking with all of it's fruit salad, grassy and passionfruit notes.
- Interestingly there is a small parcel of the unusual variety - Savagnin which tastes a little like Sauvignon Blanc but has a really interesting pithy texture which helps to extend the length of flavour of this wine; tell us what you think!

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Sam Plunkett
- Winemaking legend Sam sources grapes from the family vineyard in the Strathbogie ranges of Central Victoria. Winemakers don't come much more in love with their job than him - he'd "happily spend everyday around tanks, barrels, stainless steel toys and wine".
He’s had a meteoric rise from self-taught winemaker to a multi award-winner and even has his own cellar door now! His winery was recently recognised as one of the Top 10 Dark Horse wineries in James Halliday's 2021 Awards.
The backing of thousands of Naked Angels has helped pave the way for Sam to continue making the great wine he loves, exclusively for you!
