About the wine
Simply the best from the West
- Once again Stuart brings us an out-of-this-world Top Shelf beauty, poised to blow the socks off any Chardonnay or Margaret River enthusiast. Truly a labour of love, there was no crushing in the creation of this juicy treat. All grapes were whole fruit pressed to lock in maximum aromatics and complexity.
- Matured in French oak barriques for 12 months, it was then in tank for 10 months to allow the flavours to meld, and the wine to gain poise. Scents of lemon curd, peach skin, pink grapefruit, and citrus oils leap will from your glass. Notes of hazelnut and vanilla follow to really get you salivating!
- The palate packs texture and weight of flavour beyond expectation. This is off-set by a mineral acidity that makes the finish clean without dulling the persistence of flavour. Stuart has created a wine of nuance that manages to walk the tightrope of generosity and elegance. Above all, it is classic Margaret River Chardonnay with no future cellar reserve release possible, so it's best to lock in your personal stash now!
Best before
Buy enough to enjoy some now, but make sure you also have some to cellar. Make sure your cellar is quite hard to get to, so you don't succumb to temptation.
Serving advice
As a young wine, try it over two nights. Once the wine is a little older, drink it all on the night of opening.
Food match
Local marron, panko crusted Augusta whiting, or have it while the other half is getting dinner ready - no need to wait for food.

Meet the winemaker - Stuart Pym
Stuart’s winemaking career is the stuff of legend. First bitten by the bug at his parents' little winery in Margaret River, he went on to make wines in the Yarra Valley, Geelong and Bordeaux, and study in Tuscany, Piedmonte, Burgundy, the Loire, Rioja and Priorat. So you could say he has a fair bit of experience!
He's been crafting wine in Margaret River for over 30 years now and helped put iconic wineries like Voyager Estate, Devils Lair, Stella Bella and Flowstone firmly on the map. There's nothing he loves more than growing grapes and making wine. And he's very good at it.
With the support of Naked Angels, Stuart has rediscovered his passion for hands-on production. His label, 'Hearts and Bones' tells a story of Margaret River and celebrates the Naked Angels that paved the way for him to make wine just the way he likes it.
