Once upon a time, eight long years ago, Paul and Ralph established their dream wine business. After too long working for ‘the man’ they decided to combine their accumulated experience, passions, industry contacts and grower relationships to make their own wines, their own way.
Then, one day in the not-too-distant past, Paul and Ralph realised they were longing for another to join them. Enter: Rory Clifton-Parks.
A successful winemaker for 15 years, and an already established Angel fan favourite, Rory was the only man for the job.
Between them, these three legends tick all the boxes. Pedigree? Yep. Sustainability creds? You bet. A combined 80 years of experience? Absolutely!
Trust us when we say that this is a formidable group of people, and you’d be crazy not to sit up and take notice of what they’re doing.
Rory joins Paul & Ralph in their pursuit of making excellent wine for their Companions brand, with drops that shine brightly amongst the very best offerings coming out of Western Australia. With his fingers in the viticulture and winemaking pies, Rory is committed to applying sustainable grape growing and winemaking practices.
In fact, it’s what drew him to the collaboration in the first place. Paul & Ralph’s business is determined to make wines with a minimal impact on the environment, aiming to conserve and maintain their sites & soils for generations to come.
With Paul’s marketing & business development skills, Ralph’s long history as a top-level wine executive and consultant, and Rory’s winemaking prowess, this is a companionship for the ages.
