Andevine Canberra Shiraz 2015
About the wine
The first Canberra drop to get Naked!
- The Canberra District wine region is exploding on to the scene, as more and more Aussies seek out the long, silky mouthfeel that only cool climate reds can give. This treat from Andrew over delivers, especially sitting at it's approachable Sweet Spot price point!
- You'll be drawn in by dark fruit perfumes with a hint of black pepper and spice. Made in tiny quantities, get in quick before the wildfire chatter on the Naked website walls sees this flying out the door.
- The perfect Easterly aspect of Murrumbateman provided the developing Shiraz with warm days and cold nights, ensuring fresh and vital flavours were locked in. There, the grower tends each vine by hand to the point where the vineyard looks like a garden. Why not try this art in a glass?
Best before
Cellar for up to 15 years if you can wait to be rewarded! If you want to give that a try, buy several to try along the way.
Serving advice
Chill the bottle lightly in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes so that it is cool to touch without being cold.
Food match
This wine is so versatile and would suit many flavours from duck and turkey, through to beef, lamb and veal dishes.
