Andevine Hunter Chardonnay 2014
About the wine
Bright and fresh
- This wine has lovely melon and white peach aromas and a bright core of fruit comlimented by high quality vanillin oak.
- The vineyard this wine is from faces due east and on a steep slope set some 200m above sea level. Easterly oceanic breezes cool the vineyard during the day. In the evening the sun sets behind the mountains to the west, cooling it again.
- These cooler conditions (relative to other Chardonnay vineyards in the Hunter) are what give the wine its freshness, vitality and longevity. A great accompaniment to a wide variety of foods or fantastic on it's own.
