Exceptional vintage of a superb Shiraz

Put simply: “This is a bloody good wine!” laughs winemakers Carla Rodeghiero & Malcolm Burdett. The Hilltops area in Southern NSW produces a superb cool climate Shiraz and the 2023 vintage served up incredibly consistent grapes. The result is a vintage that showcases just what this region has to offer.

The silky tannins and lovely white pepper aroma make this wine beautifully unique. 100% matured in small French oak barriques, it’s a considered blend of Shiraz and Viognier that punches well above its weight.

With chocolate, pepper and cranberry aromas, this is a wonderfully juicy drop. The quality fruit and oak use and attention to detail make this a smooth wine that’s excellent value, available at this price only for Angels!

Meet the winemaker - Carla Rodeghiero & Malcolm Burdett
Nature-loving Carla puts her scientific background to good use to create delicious cool-climate wines. No mean feat as she also works full-time and looks after two teenage girls!
Malcolm has an award-winning winemaking pedigree reaching back more than 30 years. He won a truckload of medals and trophies for his wines and built up a highly-respected ACT winery to a Halliday 5-star winner.
They jumped at the chance to team up and boost their production of high quality regionally distinct wines. The Angel investment allows them to take their luscious creations to thousands of winelovers across Australia!
