Market Price
Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.
It’s based on the price of similarly rated benchmark bottles on the market.
We test these market prices every vintage with blind tasting panels, to make sure they’re honest and accurate.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Angel Price, we’ll add a credit to your account.

About the wine
Barossa meets Great Southern WA in this rare multi-regional Shiraz
- Find out what happens when two skilful winemakers combine the powerful character of Barossa grapes with elegant Great Southern ones. The two wine regions handed over some of their premium grapes for this winemakers' dream wine.
- Both parcels of fruit received very similar treatment at the winery - a careful hands-on approach to winemaking and barrel maturation in top notch oak. After 16 months, the barrels were selected for the final delicious blend.
- The scent of fresh berries and spice leads you into plum and black fruits in every sip. This rare red has real depth of flavour with soft tannins and a long finish. A blend of Barossa Valley and Great Southern fruit isn't something you’ll see often, so don’t hesitate to indulge your senses in this Naked treat!
Best before
While it will drink beautifully today, it has ageing potential of 6-10 years.
Serving advice
Give it a bit of time to breathe to allow it to fully open up. Your palate will thank you!
Food match
Our two favourite pairings are a Lamb Rack with Pea Puree and Tarragon Bread Salsa, or a Flame Grilled Porterhouse with Garlic herb butter. Yum!

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Ralph, Paul & Rory The Companions
- Halliday awarded duo Paul Byron & Ralph Dunning have persuaded Naked Winemaker Rory Clifton-Parks to join them in the sheds – and we’re so excited!
- Hailing from WA, Rory has been making wine for 15 years now, and has long been an Angel favourite, so the collaboration was a no-brainer for Paul & Ralph.
- Between them, these legends have 80 years’ experience, covering all aspects of the Aussie wine trade. With that kind of street cred, you can bet the wines won’t disappoint.
