Penfield Farm Pinot Bianco 2022
About the wine
Elegant single vineyard Chablis-style white
- Made under the “Gudilly” label last year, this delicious alternative white is back! It's been renamed - after the single vineyard in Virginia, on the Adelaide Plains, where Sorby gets the fruit. Its owner, George, is a good mate he's known since his Yalumba days.
- If you like Chardonnay, take this for a spin. Crisp with peach and melon, it’s Chablis in style but with more weight and ‘nuttiness’ from time on yeast lees and four months in old French oak barrels. A very elegant wine with a long finish.
- This classy drop is by a former chief winemaker for Yalumba, made with his three kids as the Adams wine legacy continues. And it's the only one of this variety available at Naked, so give it a try!
