This is a drink now wine, which also has the ability to age for 1-2 years.
Serving advice
I think 12-14C is a good drinking temperature for this wine - if it's too cold flavours get shut down. So if you have time, pull it out of the fridge half an hour before drinking, to let it warm up a little from the 5C fridge cold.
Food match
Great with any grilled fish, or with sushi and sashimi. We made a simple vegetable curry last night - in truth it was a bit too spicy for the Chardonnay but back off the pepper a bit and this would be a tasty vegetarian match.

Meet the winemaker - Sam Plunkett
- Winemaking legend Sam sources grapes from the family vineyard in the Strathbogie ranges of Central Victoria. Winemakers don't come much more in love with their job than him - he'd "happily spend everyday around tanks, barrels, stainless steel toys and wine".
He’s had a meteoric rise from self-taught winemaker to a multi award-winner and even has his own cellar door now! His winery was recently recognised as one of the Top 10 Dark Horse wineries in James Halliday's 2021 Awards.
