- This wine perfectly captures the essence of Naked Fantasy projects - a dream come true for the incomparable Sam Plunkett! Making the most of any opportunity as always, Sam used incredibly inventive winemaking techniques to achieve his goal of creating an intensely perfumed Shiraz while maintaining a rich, full body. Fermenting alongside hand-picked uncrushed berries added an amazing candy perfume that will draw you in to the Stardust world.
- With a brooding deep colour, pretty red fruit and violet aromatics, the wine's time spent in a whopping 3000L French oak barrel also gives a nuance of spice. The palate is an adventure! It sneaks up on unsuspecting drinkers with an easy & fun facade, then whapow! The layers of flavour and aroma keep unfolding to keep you guessing. Tannins have a plush, velvet like texture, all with an enduring finish.

Serve at a coolish room temperature, say 16-18ºC, no need to decant.

This is a really versatile food wine - try any of your favourite red meat dishes. Sam's recommendation? The best thing for the Stardust and Muscle Shiraz is to drink it with good company and good cheer!

Meet the winemaker - Sam Plunkett
- Winemaking legend Sam sources grapes from the family vineyard in the Strathbogie ranges of Central Victoria. Winemakers don't come much more in love with their job than him - he'd "happily spend everyday around tanks, barrels, stainless steel toys and wine".
He’s had a meteoric rise from self-taught winemaker to a multi award-winner and even has his own cellar door now! His winery was recently recognised as one of the Top 10 Dark Horse wineries in James Halliday's 2021 Awards.
The backing of thousands of Naked Angels has helped pave the way for Sam to continue making the great wine he loves, exclusively for you!
