Originating in Tuscany, Sangiovese is the main variety used in traditional Chianti blends. Bright, rustic and savoury, our version of this classic style is easy drinking and a great partner to food.
A medium bodied red, this wine has good texture and length. It shows earthy aromas and bright red fruits with plump savoury flavours on the palate.
Delicious with chicken parmigana, homemade lasagne, spicy meatballs with spaghetti or a wood-fired pizza margherita. Allow it some breathing time before serving and it will reward you well.

Hands down, A&R's favourite variety to work with… and drink! Pinot Noir is a notoriously difficult grape to grow well and its flavours are delicate rather than immediately powerful like most shiraz. This wine is a great introduction for those wanting to get more familiar with this stunning variety.
The fruit for this wine was sourced from the Yea Valley in Victoria. This region is right next door to the Yarra Valley. It sits at a higher altitude and has consistently warm days and cool nights. As the region is not as well-known as its famous neighbour, we’re able to grab top quality fruit for a lower price.
Well balanced, soft and complex, this wine has aromas of raspberries, plums and spice. These flavours follow through on the palate with added notes of dark cherry, strawberries and a touch of oak. A great partner to game meats.
