Market Price
Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.
It’s based on the price of similarly rated benchmark bottles on the market.
We test these market prices every vintage with blind tasting panels, to make sure they’re honest and accurate.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Angel Price, we’ll add a credit to your account.

About the wine
A Pinot with this much character is rare
Mike sourced grapes from some of the oldest vines in the region and made them into a stunning wine using painstaking traditional Burgundian techniques from France.
This wine simply oozes Pinot character - spiced sour cherry and plums with earthy mushroom notes that wind their way through each sip. The tannins are silky smooth and make for a very satisfying mouthful.
A wine from a vineyard of such pedigree, combined with the level of winemaking skill would usually set you back $$$. You can enjoy it for a lot less, because YOU made it happen!
Best before
Although attractive in its youth with lots of upfront flavour, the natural structure of the wine should give confident cellaring over the next 7-10 years.
Serving advice
I would always recommend decanting young reds (Personally I think that's far more important than the common held belief of decanting older wines).
Food match
This would suit a massive range of dishes, but it's a sure fire thing when paired to any gamey meats such as duck, venison, rabbit or goat.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Mike & Callum Garland
Father, Mike (‘Babbo’), spent the last 14 vintages at Castelli Estate in Denmark, WA, creating wines like their ‘Il Liris’ Chardonnay that won Best White in the 2020 AND 2021 International Wine & Spirit Competition. He’s in demand with other leading WA wineries like Rockcliffe, Singlefile and Plantagenet too.
Mike’s son Callum (‘Mimmo’) is snapping eagerly at his heels - an up-and-coming winemaker in his own right. He’s already up to his ears in grape juice, learning the ropes from one of the real characters of the business in Geelong.
Now, thanks to the backing of thousands of appreciative Angels across Australia, they can come together to create outstanding cool climate wines from the juiciest vineyards in WA's Great Southern region, and Victoria. “That’s so precious and it wouldn’t have happened for many years without the Angels.” says Mike. That's why the wines are just for you.
