Market Price
Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.
It’s based on the price of similarly rated benchmark bottles on the market.
We test these market prices every vintage with blind tasting panels, to make sure they’re honest and accurate.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Angel Price, we’ll add a credit to your account.

About the wine
Enchanting Pinot Noir from a stunning vintage
-
This elegant wine started life in the Murrummong Vineyard, Yarra Valley - known for lovely light and aromatic Pinot Noir with subtle tannins.
-
Brian has conjured up a stunning drop that smells like freshly cut strawberries and cherries, with a hint of thyme and brioche. A beautifully balanced wine that stays long on the tongue and longer in the mind.
-
Such a classic vintage, you might not see the like again for years! It’s a terrific example of this tricky-to-make wine from a clever winemaker with 23 years experience.

Serving advice
Fast and cool, 14C and let it warm up slightly in glass. Drink out of a Burgundy glass if possible to see at its best.
Food match
Suckling Pig or Roast Duck. Vegan option, fry off some lovely fresh seasonal mushrooms, butter, EVOO, seasoning, thyme, smashed garlic (bit of Safari Series Chardonnay in the mix) side salad of baby beet leaves, EVOO, lemon seasoning! I need to work on my Vegan dishes, but this would be stunning.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Brian Conway
Brian’s passion for a life in wine was inspired by his Dad, and a glass of 1983 Dom Perignon that ‘blew me away’. The pair shared a dream to start a wine business together, but his father passed away too soon and they never got the chance.
When it came to choosing his career, Brian couldn’t go past winemaking. Not just because it sounded awesome, but because his Dad would have been stoked to have a son who was a winemaker.
After a 3 year hiatus from a stellar career making wine with his best mate, Angels have given Brian a second chance to get back in the game he loves so dearly. He couldn’t be happier or more grateful!
