About the wine
An Italian-inspired drop for your next picnic
Angels, meet our very first Rosé Prosecco! Brian Fletcher’s Italian creation is an ode to our favourite warm-weather tipple, making it hard to resist when backyard BBQs, cheese platters and long lunches beckon.
Dry and delicately balanced, the drop delivers red fruit flavours that dance around hints of floral aromas in your glass, with grapes sourced from a premium pocket of Italy, an hour north of Venice.
Like the name suggests, the wine pays homage to Prosecco and Rosé, thanks to a handful of gently fermented Pinot Noir grapes that imparted that lush, red fruit decadence, minus the tannins that a darker wine would traditionally have. There’s no doubt that Angels who manage to snap up a bottle are in for a treat!
Best before
Do not age. I'll bang on about this but it's there for immediate consumption. It's been aging in a tank for two years on lees so all that's been done for you!
Serving advice
Nice and chilled makes the world go around with Prosecco around 8°c if you can measure it. The neighbours think I'm strange but I always chill the glasses as well. Especially on a hot day it makes a difference. The temperature physics is easy to calculate but let's not go there.
Food match
This is a hard one but I recon the best cheese in the region is Cambray out at Nannup which is about 50km east of Margaret River. That's the best choice!

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Brian Fletcher
- Once the chief winemaker for Evans & Tate, Brian is one of Margaret River’s greatest treasures — and ours! In 30+ years in the business, he’s collected over 50 Trophies and 100s of medals. He works with a trusted network of exceptional local growers who guarantee him the best fruit. “They're as important to the process as anything,” he says. “ It’s their grapes you are drinking and I’m the translator.”
- He’s also a wizz in European wine production, earned through back-breaking vintages in old wineries in Italy and Tunisia. In fact, it was during Brian’s 5-year stint in Italy that he truly found his wine feet and decided there was no other life for him.
- Even with a resume like his, getting Naked in 2012 was a big deal for Brian. It meant he could create his own wines in his own name and share them with big-hearted wine lovers like you. And the direct connection to chat with you is the icing on the cake!
