Market Price
Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.
It’s based on the price of similarly rated benchmark bottles on the market.
We test these market prices every vintage with blind tasting panels, to make sure they’re honest and accurate.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Angel Price, we’ll add a credit to your account.

About the wine
A refined and elegant Moscato!
-
This Moscato is light, bright and vivacious - a world-class drop! Inspired by the greatest wines from the Piedmont region in northern Italy, which can set you back up to $50 per bottle.
-
A delicate, subtly sweet fizz that oozes fresh lychee, beautifully balanced with tart pineapple and a refreshingly dry finish. Drink it super chilled and open right before serving.
-
Delicious with a plate of fresh summer fruits at brekkie or a passionfruit tart at dessert. Brilliant with a cheese plate too!
Best before
This is not a wine to put down or age for a long time, the beauty of this style of wine is the pure grapey-ness that bursts out of the bottle. Drink now and over the next 2-3 years.
Serving advice
The key here is, keep it chilly, use a normal wine glass, not a champagne flute. You want to let all those lively orchard aromas out of the bag and intoxicate your senses.
Food match
One of my favourite past times is breakfast on Christmas day with a glass of Moscato and a slice of Panettone, an air-filled light and fluffy delicious Italian sweet bread which can be plain or filled with dried fruits. Family all around and Christmas wrapping everywhere! Although, equally as delicious with a summery serve of prosciutto wrapped rockmelon, and if youÂ’re game, try with your favourite spicy Asian dish.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Bart Van Olphen
- Bart van Olphen’s wine journey is totally unique. Born and raised among the windmills and tulips of his native Holland, he learned his winemaking craft in Germany’s Pfalz region, honed it in the USA, handmade mighty reds alongside the legend that is Steve Pannell for eight years in McLaren Vale before settling in Victoria.
- Bart is married to Kim Chalmers of the famed Chalmers vineyards and it’s from these excellent family-grown grapes that he sources the most delectable, pristine fruit to power his Angel-exclusive B.V.O range of deliciousness!
- Bart is very much a minimal interventionist winemaker: grow the best fruit, let it talk and stay hands off as much as possible. And with the huge array of Chalmers grapes available to choose from Bart is like a kid in a candy store!
