About the wine
Daryl takes delicious to the next level!
- Summer in a glass anyone? Daryl brings Angels another classic crowd pleaser, direct from his very own vineyard. It's bursting with crisp citrus, grapefruit, apple and melon characters. Don't sell your cellar short, make sure you grab a couple of this seriously fast moving stock!
- Focusing on minimal intervention, Daryl has made his Sauvignon Blanc with no oak to allow the zesty characters of the grape to be fully expressed. After thoroughly researching the best area to grow this varietal, he chose the specific appellation on which to plant the best Sauvignon Blanc clone in Australia.
- Picking a seriously chilly morning on which to harvest, Daryl then juiced and fermented the parcels cold. After this, he got out of the way and let nature make the complex flavour profiles of the grapes shine! Easily enjoyed on it's own or with a variety of delicious meals, you can't go wrong with this incredibly approachable and easy-on-your-pocket winner!
Best before
Best to drink now while young, as the wine is best when its bright fruit characters are shining through. It will last nicely for another 2 years.

Serve chilled and make sure you have another bottle in the refrigerator. It goes down so easilyÂ…be warned!!

Meet the winemaker - Daryl Groom
- Meet Daryl.... He has been a winemaker for 35 years... with some of his wines even served at the Oscars and Emmys two years in a row!
- Working as the senior white and red winemaker at Penfolds, his 1986 Penfolds Grange was arguably one of the top 3 Granges ever made - 98 points from Wine Spectator and Robert Parker.
- Daryl LOVES making (and drinking) Shiraz... It's silky, sexy and simply delicious he says and the greatest value of all red wines.
