This wine will be great for the next 5-10 years.
Serving advice
Please serve at room temperature around 10-15Â’C. This wine has robust tannins, so decanting prior to serving will be advantageous.
Food match
We tried this wine recently with a gorgeous Beef Ragu, garlic potatoes and steamed greens. It was marvellous!
The wine would be perectly suitable to any red meat dish, as well as looking great with overtly ripe Blue Cheese and oatmeal crackers.

Meet the winemaker - Nicky Parish
Nicky’s parents, Peter and Felicity, chose the tiny, unique Waipara Valley in New Zealand’s South Island to plant their longed for vineyard. Pruning the vines on crisp winter mornings ignited Nicky’s love affair with wine.
The Parish family continued to grow grapes for the best producers in New Zealand for 10 years, but yearned for greater security and their own name on the label. With Nicky now a seasoned winemaker, Angels gave her the amazing opportunity to work with and learn from her father.
To this day, Angels allow Nicky to grow the business and spend time with young family. With Peter taking a well-earned governorship role, Nicky’s picking up the baton managing more of the business. Although Peter is never far away (the local golf course) if she needs some advice!
