Enfant Terrible Sauvignon Blanc 2021
About the wine
Tropical citrus delight from a fantastic region & vintage
- The Adelaide Hills region is making a bit of a name for itself for quality Sauvignon Blanc in Australia. This fruit hails from a wonderful vineyard with a reputation for producing some of the best in the area.
- Regional charm drips from this light and refreshing Savvy Blanc, which sports typical tropical fruit salad flavours. A distinct citrus zing adds a refreshing finish to this fun and fruit-packed gem - and not a grassy or herbaceous undertone in sight.
- “I’m certain it will be one of the best vintages in the last ten years,” JP tells us of this crop. And with only small volume produced, I’d grab a couple of bottles while you can.
Best before
Enjoy young and fresh.
Serving advice
Simply, open, pour and enjoy. No need to decant or aerate this white wine prior to drinking. Serve nice and cold on hot days.
Food match
An ideal match with salad, fish or pork dishes. Try with my favourite food pairing, lemon chicken with walnut and garlic stuffing.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - James-Paul Marin
- JP’s stellar career reaches back to 2000, but he almost walked away when corporate constraints became too much. Now, given a second chance by Angels, he’s walking to the beat of his own drum while crafting the boutique, cool-climate wines he loves.
- Extensive experience in the industry means JP has forged strong relationships that help him secure grapes from award-winning Aussie vineyards. Without being tied to one location, he’s able to select premium fruit that ensures every Enfant Terrible drop reflects the best that its vintage has to offer.
- As environmental advocate, JP handcrafts his wines using minimal intervention and sustainable techniques. Through SeedTheChange, he plants a tree for every case of wine sold – a mission that’s brilliant for Angels and for the Earth!
