About the wine
Blessed with pure Grenache fruit from 90-yr-old vines
- Aussie Grenache is hot property right now. No longer the big rich fortified wines of yesteryear, Grenache has rocketed onto the wine scene with a new personality - fragrant, pure and absolutely delicious.
- Glenn’s stunning drop started life on gnarly 90-year-old vines on the sands of Blewitt Springs - that's really special. The winemaking process was as hands off as possible to let the fruit characters shine.
- It’s red cherry as much as raspberry, earth as much as spice, florals more than fennel. It feels juicy from start to finish and both acidity and tannin work in delicious balance. Where else could you find such a unique wine style from such an old vineyard for such amazing value but here?!

Meet the winemaker - Glenn Barry
- Glenn Barry is a South Australian wine wizard, an ex-chief winemaker for Knappstein and a highly respected wine show judge. His philosophy of ‘no boring wines’ ensures a fantastically flavoured flourish in every bottle.
He’s had a stellar career working vintages in big wineries in Italy, the US and Canada, as well as here in Australia. When he tired of years sleeping on other folks' couches, he settled down in South Australia and worked his way up the ranks to Chief Winemaker.
With a ton of medals under his belt and all the right connections, he’s struck out on his own. Now he makes his own wines for us that are fun and interesting to drink. And you can be the judge of that!
