About the wine
Rich and voluptuous!
- Just as Jen is a legend of the Naked Wines story, her Rebel Shiraz is a leading light in her range of beautiful Victorian wines. It has been consistently heralded by Angels with buy-again ratings over 92% every vintage!
- Punching well above it's price point, the nose has plenty of ripe plum and berry fruit with hints of chocolate. The palate is full, rich and smooth, with lots of mid palate fruit and a long finish.
- This Shiraz is a blend of various vineyards so as to get a beautifully consistent wine. With all Jen's TLC at each step of the winemaking process, the overall balance of the wine is tough to resist with good length and tannin that rounds out the experience beautifully. It's definitely for lovers of rich, full bodied reds, especially at under $10!
Best before
Rebel Shiraz can be aged for the short to medium term. While itÂ’s very hard to resist now, it will mature beautifully for another 4 years until 2027.
Serving advice
I recommend serving my Rebel Shiraz at 16-18C, and opening or decanting for a couple of hours before serving.
Food match
My Rebel Shiraz is very versatile, with its generosity of flavour making it a great match to a range of dishes.
It is fabulous with grilled meats from all cuisines! Try BBQ Chinese pork, tandoori chicken, lamb Gyros or a sausage sandwich. ItÂ’s also a winner with eggplant parmigiana or a roasted root vegetable salad.

Meet the winemaker - Jen Pfeiffer
- With the help of funding from Naked Wines, Jen is making wines the way she wants. This is a huge win for all involved, since Jen took home the Wine Society's Young Winemaker of the Year Sommelier's Choice Award in 2009!
