About the wine
The ultimate BBQ buddy!
- Jen's Tempranillo has a vibrant purpley red colour with dark cherry and red berries exploding from the glass followed by spicy overtones. It is rich and robust, punchy and powerful, vibrant and very, very good!!!
- This is THE perfect food wine, perfect to match with anything and everything savoury. If you like juicy reds, with rich and rounded mid-palate fruit and savoury mouth-puckering tannins, then the Rebel Tempranillo Shiraz should be at the top of your list.
- This wine offers incredible intensity, complexity and depth – a testimony to the passion and dedication of my growers, and the attention to detail given to the wines in the winery.
Best before
My Rebel Tempranillo is sooo delicious now, but can mature in the short to mid-term until 2027.
Serving advice
Tempranillo really is a variety that likes a bit of exposure to air. Decant, pour into a jug, or open and allow to breathe, 1-2 hours prior to serving.
Ideal serving temperature is around 14-16°C…..don’t be afraid to give it a light chill on a hot day.
Once open, my Rebel Tempranillo is best enjoyed in three days.

My Rebel Tempranillo is the ultimate BBQ buddy – the ripe fruits, rich palate and savoury nature of the tannins makes it the perfect wine to enjoy with char-grilled meats and vegetables, straight off the barbie!
Not keen on the barbie, well donÂ’t worry, my Rebel Tempranillo loves just about anything savoury!!! Try it with a slow roasted lamb shoulder, Chicken Cacciatore or a tomato dahl with fragrant Basmati rice.

Meet the winemaker - Jen Pfeiffer
