About the wine
Tiny quantities, crafted by Jen
- Jen is renowned for the level of passion she pours in to her work, so it's no surprise this is our most anticipated fantasy wine yet! It is perfumed with black berries, chocolate and a tantalising brandy lift. This will make you want to dive in to the pleasure-filled palate of sweet and intense chocolate dipped berries, leading to powerful tannins on the finish.
- Jen's dream fortified wine was grown and hand-picked in the terraced vineyards of Douro, the world's oldest demarcated wine region! After picking, only the very best fruit made it through the high standards of the sorting table. It was foot crushed and co-fermented in a traditional lagar, made from the granitic rock found the valley. This technique of port production that has continued for hundreds of years. 77% Portuguese brandy spirit was then added to stop the fermentation by killing the yeast, leaving a sweet wine with a higher alcohol level.
- 'Stocks won't last' is an understatement! Under 1500 bottles exist, and where else in Australia can you buy Portuguese wines made by an Aussie as passionate about fortified wine as Jen?! As far as our Naked Redhead is concerned, producing her very own Portuguese wine thanks to Angel's votes makes this baby absolutely priceless.

This is ready to indulge in now, and will mature in the bottle until 2029.
Serving advice
Crack the Reserve Ruby Port open one to two hours before serving at around 16ºC.
Once opened, keep in a cool, dark place (a cupboard or fridge) and drink over two weeks.
Food match
Try Portuguese espresso custard tarts or a rich, dark chocolate mousse. How's that for jaw-dropping yum factor?!
