Lagoon View Aged Release Semillon 2012
About the wine
Multi award-winning bottle-aged Semillon
- The fruit for making this multi award-winning wine is sourced from the Lagoon View vineyard - a perfect spot that wraps round a 15 acre natural lagoon near the Goulburn River in Victoria. We reckon it’s on par with the fantastic Semillons of the Hunter Valley.
- Surprisingly youthful for an aged Semillon, this wine punches well above its weight. Its zingy citrus vibe hits first, followed by light toast and buttery pastry. It’s been bottle-aged for 8 years in a temperature-controlled climate to keep all the flavours intact and let time make its mark.
- The hard work has already been done and the wine is ready for your dinner table right now. Open a bottle and enjoy, or tuck it away for a few years down the track.
Best before
This wine has been cellar aged and is ready for drinking now. As with all great Semillons, this wine will continue to evolve with careful cellaring for another 10+ years.
Serving advice
Bottled under screwcap this wine is fresh and preserved in its best condition for drinking. Serve chilled at 8-10oC.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Barbara Gallo & Glenn Eberbach
The team at Stratford Vineyard have been successfully making excellent wines for many years. The vineyard has been awarded over 700 awards in the last six years including winery of the year, double gold, gold, silver and bronze medals in Australia and International wine shows.
Chances are, you’ve heard of Stratford Vineyard before - only then they were known by a different name. They first joined Naked’s Stop the Squeeze program with the Lagoon View wines that were caught up in the China tariff crisis. The relationship was intended to be temporary. Then something very special happened.
Both the Stratford team and the Angels adored one another so much, the team decided to be part of Naked exclusively… and permanently. So here they are, using their actual vineyard’s name, with Naked for good! May we introduce vineyard co-owners Barbara and Sam Gallo and their winemaker, Glenn Eberbach - our newest team behind Stratford Vineyard.
