Merlot lovers get excited, and those not yet convinced – hold on to your hats! Liz has crafted a Merlot with incredible 2015 vintage fruit quality. Cool temperature harvesting & low yielding vines can mean only one thing – intense flavor and colours!

Liz’s skill in crafting unique wines with a lot of TLC has resulted in a seriously easy to drink deep red Merlot with vibrant purple hues. The fragrances of rich fruit cake, raspberry, plum and dried herbs will please any crowd.

The wine’s medium body shows rich plum and blackberry fruit flavours, with a hint of menthol and spice. Angels have the chance to experience a showcase of the violet and plum flavours that typify Merlot at an incredible Angel only price! With each sip rounded out by velvety cedar and cocoa tannins, what more could you want from a wine on a wintery night?
Best before
Drinking fantastically at the moment, this Merlot will continue to improve over the next five to eight years.
Serving advice
Let the wine breathe for an hour or so before drinking or decant to speed up the breathing process. In hotter weather, try putting the wine in the fridge for 20 to 30 minutes so it is not so warm and cloying.
Food match
Delicious with grilled steak and blue cheese butter, Mediterranean lamb burgers or roasted pork loin.

Meet the winemaker - Liz Richardson
- Coming from a wheat and sheep property in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, Liz wanted to do something agriculture related & has now been a qualified winemaker since 2004.
- Liz's wines are made with attention to detail, passion and commitment. Liz tried to source the best fruit from the best vineyards to make a wine that is interesting and different whilst something everyone can still enjoy.
- After spending a year in Italy studying for her Masters, Liz fell in love with the lifestyle and the wines & draws a lot of passion from this time.
