- Back by popular demand, this Angel favourite blend of robust Cab and juicy Merlot gives more and more each vintage! With growing Angel support and room for experimentation, Anna & Derek had another huge opportunity to execute some winemaking wonder.
- With a medium bodied palate of fresh berries, subtle choc-mint and spice, you'll be filling a second glass quickly to make sure others don't get to the bottle first! It has an attractive deep red colour, enticing aromas and soft tannins, all adding up to a crowd pleasing dry wine perfect for any casual occasion.

Drinks well as a young wine if you allow it to breath...DonÂ’t be afraid to let this lay down for a little while to let that cold climate tannin really relax and more tertiary flavours develop!!
Serving advice
We do highly recommend you let this wine breathe for 20 – 30 minutes before drinking (as we do with all our reds)….its young, give it time to gather itself!
Food match
No one can go past a good olÂ’ Aussie bbqÂ’d lamb chop with this crowd pleaser, so naturally we have our own home grown! But we think youÂ’ll be impressed with whatever you choose to have with this easy drinker!

Meet the winemaker - Derek Hooper
Hooper & Co’s wines echo the pristine land they come from, the local community and pushing wine boundaries (Derek’s speciality!)
Derek’s son, Harry, splits his time between winemaking and brewing. Daughter Grace is already elbow deep in grape juice, and Daisy is a marketing specialist in the industry.
From father Kym’s first vineyard back in 1992, through Derek, to his fresh-faced, eager charges, they are one of the new families of wine. And they’re out to stir up your palate with fantastic drops with sustainability at their core.
