Market Price
Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.
It’s based on the price of similarly rated benchmark bottles on the market.
We test these market prices every vintage with blind tasting panels, to make sure they’re honest and accurate.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Angel Price, we’ll add a credit to your account.

About the wine
The hills are alive with the sound of Pinot...
- Pinot Noir... the brooding and mysterious character that never fails to send taste buds into a spin! Adam's Pinot Noir is smooth, sexy and the perfect lighter bodied red for the warmer months.
- This notoriously delicate and complex varietal has been crafted to delight drinkers with a fragrant nose of lifted, juicy cherry and spicy red fruits.
- The palate shows spicy complexity and savoury, and gamey nuances. With enough love and oak in this baby to make it last, do yourself a favour and stock up to enjoy it again and again as the layers fulfil their potential over the coming years.

Serving advice
Serve in large glasses to enjoy the aroma of the wine.
Food match
delicious on it's own but also a great pairing for food. Pairs well with a charcuterie platter due to the textural nature of the wine. Or try with sauteed mushrooms with polenta, goats cheese and fresh herbs.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Adam Barton
- Adam Barton began his winemaking journey largely as a result of tasting a glass of the 1965 Lindemans Hunter River Burgundy, which he described as "magic". He was already a master craftsman when we found him, creating tiny amounts of his own premium label wines and winning big at the wine shows.
- Based in the Clare Valley, Adam has the freedom to explore different variteals and keep pushing the boundaries of experimentation to the delight of Angels' taste buds. We knew from the start he was a wine genius and Angels would love him!
- Adam's Rabbit & Spaghetti range of wines are snapped up by Angels, year in, year out. Carefully selected vineyards, passionate grower partners & lots of care and attention to the smallest detail in the winery make them an amazingly good drop.
